Kaleido Sniper M1 sample roaster video

To follow up my own post, for anyone looking for a Kaleido, I highly recommend dealing with Barrett from espressooutlet.com They are the only authorized US distributor and I can tell you that he is upstanding and goes above and beyond for his customers. Good man. I think I got a 1 in a 1000 lemon and most

DF83v first impressions and problems

I dont have these issues with mine. I have changed two SSP Burr sets and it has retained the zero between the two burr sets. Only stall happened when grinding too fine at 300 rpm. I also find that depending on the burr set, there is a zero point and a practical zero. At 4 I can get it to

La Marzocco GS3 MP & Home App Issue

I could not figure out how to start a new topic on Home-barista - so I'm trying this... I recently upgraded to La Marzocco Home app v 3.10 (without a back-up of the old version). It does absolutely NOTHING on my iPad. The screen flashes and the icon shows in the toolbar - but no screen. An older version worked

7g VST/LM Single Shot Basket Tips

The past week or so I started pulling single shots with a LM F3.029 basket (same as VST 7gr). I originally got soggy baskets til I realized I wasn't waiting long enough before removing the portafilter. The flow through the single shot basket is basically half that of a traditional 18gr basket. So when we end the

Option-O 98mm Mizen Burrs - User Experience

I'm in the same situation like you. The first shots with the 98HU were awesome, but after a while I tend to say, the burrs are too clinical. The clarity is super high, but the shots only taste really good with a high flow from 2,5g/s and more. So Turboshots are the method of choice for me at the

Is Haynes Lubri-Film Plus suitable lubricant for Flair machines?

As are the seals on my Bosco. I contacted the tech department at Haynes a few years ago and asked about using the Lubri-Plus on rubber and silicone lever seals. They said it wasn't a good choice and suggested their silicone lube instead

Got a new style Marzocco single basket - should I replace?

Well, several days after I placed the order for a VST 7gr basket La Marzocco emailed back saying they think they have found the basket I was looking for and provided me a tracking number! And so now I have three single shot baskets. The "new style" La Marzocco (only one available on their website

IKAWA Home - profiles

Pizza / Bagel / Donut I suppose it's also kinda analogous to pulling a shot of espresso: just substitute air for the water and use the coarsest grind possible "Ikawa Home thermal performance" "Ikawa Home thermal performance" The photos and video are from a 100g machine, but that should sorta scale down to 50g.

Hacea Coffee Impressions

I have had the first of them and enjoyed them. At that time, they had a big variety of great Guats. FWIW on the aging, they do seem to have some they are now trying to move along. I have had 4 20kg bags of this one. My customers love it. And
