Lelit Elizabeth Owner Experience

Have had my V3 about two months now, and only been playing with the preinfusion settings in the Advanced menu. I haven't tried the other advanced changes per Dave Corby. Is everyone's machine calibrated differently, or has the same default settings? If you are making the boiler operating range tighter, would it have much effect on the life of the

Brew pressure issue on a QM67

Wait, your steam valve (For the steam wand) is leaking 100% of the time? That would be a reason your boiler isn't building enough pressure to close the vacuum breaker... From all of the above posts, it seems obvious that you have several issues and will need to tackle each of them in turn... The boiler is obviously overfilled

Izzo Alex HX - Pump Runs Constantly

If you let it idle much longer, does the wait time take even longer? If your brew-circuit water is escaping, then as the brew boiler (and the pipe through the steam boiler) reach boiling temp, the steam will expand and displace brew-circuit water to wherever it can escape. Eventually the brew boiler will be half empty and when

So I want an Olympia Cremina and paired grinder

Hi Dale, welcome to HB and I'm just a few miles South of you in Palm Coast these days, and I'm using my Cremina and Kafatek Conical daily until I get into my new home and get all my machines set up. I have a couple of ideas to offer since it sounds like you haven't ventured from using

Too much water during preinfusion after replacing E61 mushroom in Expobar Brewtus

The o-ring looks fine in the photo. They're all a little loose out in the open like that, it will get smashed in position and fill that groove a little more. But, do take it out and look at it again and look at it's cavity in the head, feel the wall where it should seal, down around the

Espresso spiced up with licorice

Drop, translated as licorice, contains an extract of 'zoethout' that also translates as Licorice....you should be able to buy the actual root or powder of it and add it to the ground coffee...I'll pass

La Pavoni 1996 pressurestat adjustment

based on the Images it appears that your pressurestat isn't adjustable. on the adjustable ones there is a plastic screw that allows you to set the pressure. So if you want to change it you will have to replace the pressurestat. Then again, 0.7 bars is the reccommended boiler pressure for making espresso on a pre-millennium La Pavoni. higher boiler

Would it be possible to install a resin filter inside (to the inlet) of the Profitec Pro 600/700 water reservoir?

Interesting, and thank you... The recharging statement referred only to the ECM branded one, but I withdraw it for the time being... I have memory notes written here "Lelit=2 weeks recharge, 6 months replace" and "ECM= 2 weeks recharge, 12 months replace", but until I can find where this information was gathered, I suggest trusting HomeBurrero, I may
