Humidity sensor on exhaust - other gas sensors ?

Very cool thread. Thankyou Gary and Esteve for doing and sharing all this. If I didn't already have a bunch of projects, I might get myself some of the sensors you are using and rig them up to my North 1K drum roaster. It runs on propane, where the gas exhaust does go through the beans and

Best grinder aesthetically for KDVW Speedster

I think they'd be fine together. The basic angles work together. That said: When you're dropping $13K on an espresso machine and > $4K on a grinder, some hundreds for custom steel side panels for the grinder to match the Speedster seems a drop in the bucket if you don't like the wood

How often do you clean your grinder, and do they get very dirty?

I have a Ditting 804 with SSP HU burrs. Initially I cleaned it every 3 months, then 4 and lately 5. It hardly has much in it even after 5 months of daily use. Around each of the three fins, that push the grinds out, there is a small clump of fines and the center cavity around the bottom

Espresso by Arden- need parts

The Arden name plate is meaningless, as they are a retailer. They sell many different machines, and the label on yours is just a rebadging. To me, it looks vaguely like an older Expobar, maybe a Monroc. On second thought, maybe an older Office?

Braided hose to water filter faucet

I agree no JG for me. I realize I'm probably looking at at least two adapters to get it to 3/8 British. It's no easy task to find them however

Fellow Aiden anyone?

I'm just glad I waited, because the last few years I have looked at several options but none I found to be customisable enough so I get it when it eventually hit the European market but that I doubt is before 2025

Is this boiler salvageable

It looks like BSP. If those first few threads are gacked you could tap with NPT, and use a conversion fitting, or tap it to the next size up BSP, there appears to be enough meat. Other option would be to braze or tig weld a new fitting to the outside
