How to use vintage faema President 1958

Dear ira, Thank you for your reply! Then it makes sense that there is a knob in this position. Thank you very much for your help. It's my first time working with a vintage machine, so there are a lot of things I don't know. I would be happy if you could continue to teach me

ACS waiting times

Glad to hear ShotClock that you machine is in motion! DHL works differently from country to country is my experience, ACS Vostok managed to come into the house last Friday and I am beyond happy with it and the coffee it produces! Even the package is high quality, I don't want to throw it away Nerdchills lvl high

Option-O Lagom 01 Discussion

I am currently waiting for my 102mm black 01, Early March Dispatch. I was told they are planning to test Thursday/Friday this week for my order, and if the grinder passes the tests it's ready for shipment

Who's still buying conventional tampers?

I've thought about purchasing a new tamper several times, but my Quickmill came with a solid tamper, so I've just resisted the temptation all these years

How to use vintage faema President 1958

I think I remember someone mentioning they were to shut off the water to the sight glass in case it's broken. Someone who know better will hopefully correct me if I'm wrong

Highest chance of success - roasters

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and experience. I have access to some decent local roasters and they charge $15-$20 for a 12oz bag. Given the wide range of comments, I think I'll start with a cheap option (I already own a heat gun) and see where that gets me

Option-O 98mm Mizen Burrs - User Experience

I have an order in for an O1 with 102mm but with the delays I'm considering switching to the 98mm mizen. Has anybody here had a chance to experience the 102 and 98mm for espresso?

Who's still buying conventional tampers?

what is a good leveling tamper for $50? you are referring to ones with the lip and a 'spring' mechanism? Yeah there are cheaper ones especially on amazon etc but I find they are lightweight and trying to tamp hard enough is painful. a nice heavy 'conventional' tamper, per the post above, is enjoyable to use and only takes
