La Marzocco GS3 - Excessive Water Consumption

This is a GS3 AV and it's roughly 6 years old. LM tech came to service it 6 months ago for the first time. I believe he worked on the safety valve and vacuum valve? He said it was in great condition, we have extremely soft water. After the service it was moved to a different residence far away from

I'm thinking a Flow Control Device isn't worthwhile for my Appartamento...

Having had both HX and DB machines (among others), my advice is to go with the thermometer at least until you're fully familiar with the flushing requirements of your particular HX. Maybe then switch over to a manometer. I know of no adapter that will permit both

Water report and advice on RO or filter

I am not a chemist, and I don't know what is "the best". But I could share my experience with RO (or maybe this was RO DI system all this time - I honestly did not pay much attention). I got Home Master Hydroperfection about 5 years ago. I was looking for something that would not only remove the

ECM Synchronika/Profitec Flow Control Kit

You'd have to ask them, but I'd bet they change it out. I'd ask them to send you the old spring and even the mushroom. You probably paid for them

"End Game" hopper grinder

Thank you for all of your ideas everyone! I am on a Apartmento right now so it is a rather "basic" machine. The Key will be arriving soon. I will be looking to upgrade the espresso machine as well to gain more control and better temperature regulation. The next machine would almost certainly have PID and

Hands on experience with the Eagle One Prima

Hmmm... hopefully there aren't the issues that a lot of products have being the first model of a new range. Can you not buy the current Hydra single group..?

Eureka Mignon Single Dosing Mod

I also converted my Eureka Mignon to single dose via 3D printed small hopper (no bellows), but ultimately I got frustrated my the grind retention and buildup . Do the bellows solve that problem? Cool fork!

Niche Zero not pushing out ground coffee

My favorite thing about the NZ is how easy it is to dial in espresso, and then it generally doesn't need to be touched until I switch roasts. Not only that, but if I switch between two roasts, when I go back to the first, I set the grind dial exactly where it was previously and I get the same
