Hi, thanks for the reply.. Do you know what it is? when I turn towards the plus, the temperature rises, and with it the pressure in the boiler.. do I understand correctly that this changes the temperature, or is it better for me not to touch it ? {image}

There's always a trade-off between column height and agitation. I'm generally much more concerned about disturbing the brew bed by letting the water column drop too low, so I keep the height between about the 250 to 300 ml mark. Even with the dispersion screen I can see the brew bed being disturbed if the column drops lower than that

I wouldn't bother but the current set comes with sleeve seals. It's just not easy to pull the sleeve out. Mine are finally due at 5.5years, with machine being turned on between 7am and 1-2pm.
