La Nuova Era Cuadra - pump continuously working
Grounding the probe does stop the pump. I looked inside the boiler and it seems the water level is about 1/2 inch below the probe lowest point. I'm not understanding why the pump is working but the boiler is not filling up to the level of the probe

The steam boiler explodes (sometimes)
If you know the pump isn't on, then the chain of command in the boiler is: temperature probe sends temp data to PID PID uses temp data to control heater which heats up Heating up raises pressure Safety valve monitors pressure and relieves if too high Not sure if by temperature gauge you mean temperature probe, but if

Braided hose to water filter faucet
Do the Perfectwater folks have a plan for getting it hooked up? That one is an RO faucet, nicely geared for hooking up with John Guest, but may be a little tricky getting from what appears to be a 7/16-24 UNS (1/4" compression) male threaded stem to your 3/8" BSP softener without going via JG

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket
The second article said that the coffee pot exploded and caused a blaze that overwhelmed her, resulting in second and third degree burns over 90% of her body. So while it isn't entirely clear what happened you're right that it wasn't simply a moka pot that killed her. I used to regularly fill my first moka pot above

The steam boiler explodes (sometimes)
This machine has a pid controller, not a pstat. How can I change the settings? And how it can explain the differences between my apartment and the shop?

The steam boiler explodes (sometimes)
none of the options. I'm not sure about the pump, but don't think so. But there is always voice of the boiler heating up before the explosion

The steam boiler explodes (sometimes)
It sounds like its the steam boiler's pressure relief valve opening up to release excess pressure. I"m assuming this as it seems like your boiler didn't necessarily "explode" as its still functional. Not sure how the pressure in your machine is monitored and controlled. The pressure set by the pressure controller (or PSTAT) and the setting of the
