Does removing coffee fines (e.g. with a sieve) always improve flavor?

As defined in the OP, "preferred by the majority of people".

Quick Mill QM67 Flow/Pump Help

It always helps to know what occurred before the problem It would be well to leave the covers off 'til this is solved so you can see what's happening:
  • ** is there return flow to the reservoir?
  • ** is the pump feed full of air?
  • ** how hot is the pump body?
  • ** is there a lot of air in...

    Aicok CM4682 Group Head Gasket

At $125 new retail, it may be that they don't offer service parts at all. It might be cheaper to send the user a new machine than stock parts and deal with diagnosis and repair instructions.

Coffee brewing too long and caffeine

If there's a difference I'd expect it to be with caffeine's solubility. According to google water at 80C can hold 18g caffeine per 100ml while water at 100C can hold 67g per 100ml. And, of course, caffeine does require time to be dissolved. I've no clue how much that matters based on the amount of caffeine in the beans. See...

    Searching for an all-round grinder

Hi everyone, I'm new to the home coffee hobby since few months. I'm using a gaggia classic pro for the espresso, a Moccamaster for filter and a Anfim Haus Self grinder. I would like to upgrade my grinder with a new purchase I would like a all-round grinder, with good quality design and materials. Online I've found these three grinders,...

    Flair 58

It's not essential, there are several home lever machines that don't have a shower screen. The shower screen is mostly there of practical reasons and mean you can have a fast work flow a puck screen would be very impractical. Anyone who owned more then one machine would know that the flow from the shower screen and the dispersion block...

    Lelit Bianca User Experience

Pump/group head pressure questions: Just received a Bianca from Clive Coffee. So far it has been fantastic and I love it! The pump pressure from Clive was set at 11 bar. That makes group head pressure up around 11+. Seems too high to me and from what I have read Lelit recommends 10bar pump pressure? I chatted with Clive and...

New Ikawa Home Roaster - 100g capacity

If I am not wrong you can install the app and create account without an Ikawa machine. So as long as you do this now, you probably won't have to pay the subscription fee.

ECM Technika IV steam wand design question

Hmm sort of hard to tell just from watching the drawing and not seeing the actual parts. My ecm classika has a simular design, noticed the bolt that held the steam wand ball joint in place was not tightened too hard when taking my steam wand apart, so I'm assuming the spring in there is supposed to push hard enough...
