You can speed up the process by removing the vac break to syphon out the boiler. Either use a spare/old pump or a bulb vacuum. {image}

Update after testing. No discernible pump sound difference with water flow or no flow. Flow does return to reservoir when nothing out of grouphead. No water flow through steam wand when opened when failing to flow through grouphead. I did take videos if this helps?

I like the 078 better than the SSP MP, the after taste is much nicer on the 078 and I'd say it has even more clarity and depth of flavour than the MP

Funny and sad, I've had mine for 5 years and a couple of weeks ago it started to spit a little water when steaming. I cleaned the autofill probe twice, cleaned the intake solenoid and still having the issues. I will probably need to replace the intake solenoid as I believe it does not close properly.
