Caffeine break
Was the issue with caffeine or coffee specifically? I stopped consuming virtually all caffeine. I'm still drinking coffee (right now this very minute in fact)

Mazzer Philos Comments
Maybe that's a problem on an Urbanic. On all four of my grinders in active use, the build quality is good enough and the retention low enough that I can switch between espresso and filter and back again without "losing" the grind setting

Help with spritzers- puck prep
I would recommend better coffee for flavor and, unless within a few weeks of the roast date, easier extraction control. "Best by" coffees, if so labeled, are usually best avoided (traditional Italian blends a notable exception). The baskets that come with portafilter handles usually aren't great. However, the ones I've seen are comparable to baskets that work reasonably well

Caffeine break
A little under two years ago I had a medical problem that stopped all my coffee consumption until recently. At the time I stopped, I could have experienced headaches. But I had other issues which masked any/all minor symptoms that I could blame on lack of caffeine. As a year past, I really did not notice the

It is De Mello 'Gentleman' roast. The triple basket came with my naked pf but I believe it says made by IMF. Recommend different basket setup? I will try to improve my wdt but I'm not sure how much it can improve. Thanks

Decent Espresso news
There is a full least of upcoming features of the bengle several pages back on this thread. Expected cost $6000 USD, timing still seems up in the air. May to November, I've heard a lot of different timelines. The Bengle will be a new product, my understanding is that the initial release will be small to try

Delonghi Perfecta ESAM5500 "Insert Milk Container"
Hello, everyone. Some years ago, the steam boiler failed on our Delognhi ESAM5500 machine, and I replaced it with a newer Delonghi machine. However, I recently decided to try to fix it. I replaced the steam boiler and one of the two solenoid valves, and it now works -- partially. With the milk carafe

Fellow Aiden anyone?
I never overflown it in the Wilfa and others that I used where you could close the flow, if you closed you could have like 250ish grams of water in it without overflowing, easily 300g when not closing This show you need to change basket at about 3.5 cups or over 400ml brews. I imagine you might be

Differences between Ww core 80mm and Ssp 83mm HU in espresso
I have the 83HU and I agree with Malling and Lobin - they are much more unimodal than you'd expect. They look like the 64HU, but they don't perform similarly at all. Not quite MP level of clarity, but pretty darn clear and bright, and they go a little finer than the MP so it's easier to dial
