Pourover vs. Espresso - Acidity

I gave this a try. It definitely reduced that acidic feeling in my stomach (I went with 80 degrees). Somehow not satisfied with pourover in the way that I am with espresso though. It's kind of fun to make, just not the kind of taste that satisfies. I'll continue to give it a try, but I think espresso is

Thanks all. I replaced the o ring and seems to be good for the moment. However, it usually takes a bit of time for the drip to start. Easier than I expected. We'll see. I appreciate the help Josh

I have not tried Nicoletti specifically, but your description of the ingredients of the blend and flavor notes is very reminiscent of the Malabar Gold blend that I am going through right now. Which variable to check - brew pressure or time?

Following on with those thoughts, you probably will never get a good "single" shot from the machine. Less coffee in the basket at a given grind generally means less resistance. Without an OPV to control pressure, you have to give up the freedom to set one of your variables, such as grind and dose, to compensate for that
