Any alternative to Behmor?
Yeah, I know of the new safety feature on 1600 Plus and upward. That was one of the reasons I kept using the original 1600. It has no manual control to customize the profile, but as long as I can find a pre-loaded profile with a few tweaks of + or -, it is basically a fully automatic roaster.

The Grinder Evolution Continues
I read through a thread here about going back to a hopper style grinder because singe dose was too much work. I'm going in the opposite direction. My first grinder was a huge machine that you used to find in grocery stores to grind a pound of coffee. I used it for drip coffee. When I got into

Any alternative to Behmor?
You can go the RK drum route. {link} Also on the same boat as you. The hop to the bullet is a little too steep at the moment for me

Any alternative to Behmor?
I'm not aware of anything that will do that. Most roasters are today are going for control and not big volume low cost like the Behmor. If you've been happy with the Behmor, I'd get a new motor and maybe a spare afterburner as they used to go bad. I hated the upgrade because of that darn new safety feature

Downgrading from Slayer. Options sought.
So I am beginning the downgrading portion of my espresso slope. I went from a La Spaziale Vivaldi 2 to a gs/3 and then to a Slayer. Been very happy with my Slayer since 2017 and use it with my monolith flat. I don't drink light roasts. My current standard is Vivace Dolce. Very low output

Braided hose to water filter faucet
That looks very reasonable to me. Pretty much just a standard faucet. The 3/8" on the end of that braided hose would almost surely be 3/8" compression for fitting to common US angle stops. (3/8" comp is not the same threading as what is usually called 3/8" NPT.) I think the adapter fitting that Stefano sells would do

Fellow's new brewer - Aiden Q&A
Some other questions I have seen: Q: What is the lowest single serve dose Aiden can brew properly? A: I have been able to brew as low as an 8g dose and get a true single serve cup. I've even been able to overextract at this small level. The goal here was to be able to truly do

Fellow's new brewer - Aiden Q&A
Great question! 1. We are planning to have a Fellow Drops folder right on the brewer itself. The brewer will store the last 10 weeks of Drops releases. So if you buy a drop, and have your device connected to the internet, brew profiles for Drops will be right on the machine for you. 2. Yes. Any
