Brew water temperature La Marzocco Linea Mini 2021

Hey Fran, Welcome to HB! Can you describe how you are measuring the water temperature? 80C is a typical measurement to get from a properly functioning machine if you are trying to measure the drops falling from the group or the temperature of water collected in a cup. A good way to get a more accurate measurement

Moka pot question about the amount of coffee in the filter basket

I'm already as coarse as white sugar. I can't imagine going coarser than this. But I can try. I just feel like going coarser has almost made it worse.I've always stated clearly that I have a 6-cup. If that isn't being made clear and people are giving me 3-cup advice I can't really do anything about that. Don't get me

Domobar Jr Hx Temperatures

A sensor in the group is a thermally a million miles away from the heating element in an HX. One might do better to model group thermal performance and install sensors for ambient temperature, air flow and direction - all of which impact an e61. Back in '08 I measured a VBM HX w PID with a Scace 1

I have definitely been looking at that one. The top/handle worries me a little. I've heard it can fall off too much

I might not haul the Robot every time I travel, so I need to figure out my priories still. But, I think good for espresso is the most important. Now it is looking like I might spend the extra money for a J-Ultra

1959 Faema Urania Three Group Hydraulic with Hotel Group

With the lower group taken off and fully apart, there is a lot to see with the upper group. Probably the most immediate part is the stepped piston. I have never seen a Faema machine with this design before. It still has two piston seals, but the shape and the rods above are quite new to me but I can
