Moving from Mignon Specialita to Ceado e37s or Atom 75
Hey! I think everybody on here has been through what you are going through. Here is my take and you can take it for what it is. In short, it will be a better shot. However, is it worth 800-1600 EU over the Mignon, is completely up to you and what you think. I personally

Weber Workshop BIRD: How's the brew?
There is a higher likelihood that a long extraction time can have good results with zero bypass. Tricolate is a good example of this. But immersion is probably the main reason. You're not introducing fresh solvent (as in unsaturated water) the whole brew so after a while the extraction slows to a crawl. {image} (from {link}) In

Weber Workshop BIRD: How's the brew?
Okay, try number two. This morning, I kept all variables the same except bumped up the water temp to 200F and kept the overall brew time to 5 minutes. This was an immediate 4-5 rotations of the "gizmo" followed by a 4-minute steep and a one-minute err...reverse plunge. The resulted in a much sweeter, less drying, brew so I think

Help purchasing ECM Home, Profitec Go, or Pro 300...
Thank you Jeff for the interesting information, I have seen the prices of citric acid powder and it is very affordable compared to conventional and sponsored products. In Sicily we have very hard water, when I use the kettle even just a few times, the limescale is clearly visible, therefore the use of mineral water combined with the jug seems

Domobar Jr Hx Temperatures
Well, the point of a model would be to be able to make predictions, and predictions wouldn't be necessary with a second thermometer. Obviously a second thermometer would be required to derive a model, in the lab, but you could get a pretty decent model of brew temp vs boiler temp at standard temperature and pressure, and leave the fine

Casadio Undici A1 pump not turning on
The switch position is designed to fill the boiler prior to turning on the heating element and burning it up. Position 1 is fill and the pump would turn on unless the boiler is filled to the level set by the level probe. If the level probe is corroded it can short and give a false ready so the pump
