Taste upgrade is probably only 10 percent at most when you upgrade the grinder "end game". You gotta factor in work flow too. I recently upgraded from eureka xl to kafatek max2. My wife preferred eureka taste for few blind tests we did for fun. Taste is all subjective. I could taste the difference between them but eureka

I've the DF64 with the LS V3 and do not have this issue

Should look at the work flow. Decent seems easier and there's such a big community behind it. If money wasn't concerned, decent hands down
