Cleaning E61 grouphead (stubborn hard water stains)

See "How to polish out scratches?" for some information on various polishes and compounds. Paul Pratt is a well-respected restorer, if you're not familiar with the name.

Dual grinder combo: Niche Zero (espresso) & Baratza Vario+ Steel Burr (filter) - thoughts?

It is impossible for someone outside of Baratza to know the answer to this question.There is a significant difference - as far as Rao was concerned, and it is conventional wisdom. Whether that difference is significant to you - only you can answer.

Upgrade from Mini Vivaldi ii and Eureka Specialita

Can only attest to the Bianca, which I have used for 6 months now. It looks great, are built really well, warms fast for a E61, easy control system and the paddle is really useful when you learn how to use it. Steams almost like a professional machine as well.

Dual grinder combo: Niche Zero (espresso) & Baratza Vario+ Steel Burr (filter) - thoughts?

Need help with post-roast data

You can do it in Artisan - see my post. The reason to do Plus is to support Artisan so that you continue to get improved software. The new preference is that people sign up for Plus rather make a donation. That way you get greens discounts and some inventory management too.

Need help with post-roast data

Yep the roast reports to excel (or csv) from Artisan contain all the data. You can then use a word processor to include what you want via mail merge. My sheets do 6 at a time. Here is a sample. {image}

Good grinder to pair with La Marzocco Linea Mini?

Sorry for the thread hijack: I think any of these will be a huge difference from your Mignon. I can tell you about my experience going from a Mignon XL to the EG-1 and things that I have learned along the way and from my research. The difference between the XL and the EG-1 is night and day. I bought...
