Cheap coffee scales - any to beware of?

For those that have the Lunar and perhaps did not read the warranty, the scale is under warranty for 2 years including water damage. States so on the acaia webpage under the scale description, but does not mention it in the manual. Screenshot from webpage... {image}

New Etzinger etz-I grinder

I'm glad that you find counterclockwise grinding with the ETZ as easy as clockwise grinder rotation. I presume you're right-handed. My comment was based on human musculoskeletal and neuroanatomy. The ergonomic asymmetry of clockwise and anticlockwise movements in tool use is well understood in the case of screwdrivers used by right and left handers to tighten and loosen right

Food safe adhesive

I have used it to glue a couple broken coffee mugs together. If it's just the handle, I'll still use it for coffee. If it's actually part of the mug that touches coffee, that mug gets moved to shaving or pen holder duty. That's relevant here because, to me, gluing the magnet into the funnel is like gluing

Food safe adhesive

Well, yeah. Wouldn't you make the same recommendation, even without a lawyer telling you to? It's one thing to make a decision for yourself but advising customers is different. Do we even know with certainty how safe Super Glue or one of the dozens of other "super glues" really is? Would you eat a tube of it? Even if

Huky IR burner issue

I just filled the tank, so there's one thing - didn't fix the problem. Next is the regulator. Can I use any old regulator, or does this stove require a certain type of regulator?

Cheap coffee scales - any to beware of?

Is the flow rate display in the app easy to read? I have the Timemore Black Mirror Nano and the flow rate display updates too frequently (about 10 times per second), making it difficult to read while pulling the shot

Lagom P100

Where can I read up on the different p100 burr options? I got a little confused reading a post on the Kafatek forum. It seemed to suggest that at some point there was a 98 SSP HU burr that was renamed by SSP to LU, and they offered a new version of the HU burrs that I presume are what

Orphan Espresso Apex Grinder

Not sure why you're asking, but note that grinding on the Apex at its finest setting is, to me, unbearably slow. (The grind speed on the Apex varies noticeably; coarser is faster, finer is slower. The adjustment on the Apex ranges from +9 clicks (coarsest) to -9 clicks (finest), where 0 is the mid-point of the adjuster. The finest
