Fellow's new brewer - Aiden Q&A
3 quick hitters (if you're still around Nick, this is awesome by the way that you did this): 1- I've seen some takes regarding the plastic used in Aiden and other coffee related products from SCA (like the XBloom Studio): With Aiden, what is the methodology behind using plastic for the shell? 2 - Water is the most

Odyssey Argos owner experience
Thanks for the insight, Jim. I wasn't necessarily asking for a sight glass as much as I was griping about a small boiler that would need to be refilled frequently with only an indicator of, "maybe don't pull another shot please." I'm accustomed now to just using a kettle with the Flair that, quite frankly, if I'm going

Highest chance of success - roasters
I have some thoughts...do with them what you will: If you don't want another hobby then roasting may not be for you. Everyone that I know of, from those of us home roasters with only a year or 3 under our belts all of the way up to people like Hoos and Rao, I hear saying they

Differences between Ww core 80mm and Ssp 83mm HU in espresso
Skip 83mm as SSP tried to copy other burrs so best to get the original burr which works much better. CORE is great for medium and somewhat darker espresso and will also do light pretty good. It's far more versatile than a Mazzer Conical as that's only really good for medium/dark roasts and lacks for everything else. Cast, Ultra

I would still pick Core over the LS83 but it's probably less of a quality difference and both do well

Mobile or hotel room brewing?
They wash the pillows and bed sheets if you check into any decent place, so it's probably the cleanest thing in the room, also you generally should always check for bedbugs, because the last thing you want is them to come with you back home, I always check for it and other pest. I for sure ain't using the

Mobile or hotel room brewing?
Bring an air mattress for the floor as it's best not to sleep in the beds either. People drool on their pillows. There could be bedbugs as well so probably you don't even want to sleep inside the room. Stay in your car in the parking lot
