Did it tell you to refill the water? If it's waiting for the flowmeter to stop moving and you keep topping it up, it has no choice but to keep pumping

So an update on my issue with the EG-1: Weber offered to take a look at it so I send it back. They swapped out the burrs and now things have improved significantly! Several things have changed though which I find strange. Before I did not get much of the wiper sound (the leather pices rubbing against the inside)
