La Marzocco GS3 MP paddle adjustment/preinfusion

A CAD type presentation on that would be cool to see. re. the conical paddle - how long/how many shots is the life span until

Switching between Flair 58 and Robot - grind size?
Is there anyone out there who owns both a Flair 58 and a Cafelat Robot, and can speak the convenience of switching between the two? I currently own a Flair 58, but I'd be interested in additionally acquiring a Cafelat Robot, as it looks like a fun thing to use. The main thing that would put me

Espresso Cafe Suggestions for London?

Saw a recommendation recently for Rosslyn Coffee in the city, which looks extremely good, especially if you like lighter roasts. Caveat - this is just from looking at their website, it could be awful

Espresso shot - coffee appears immediately - problem?
I agree, no reason to think anything is "wrong" here. But if only to satisfy your curiosity, try grinding finer, which should certainly increase time to first drip, and see if taste improves, doesn't change, or gets worse. Try and see! Experiment a bit! You can also play with flow control as Nunas suggests (and I also use
