Cold brew coffee.
I have never made cold brew coffee outside of work but at present work is having me help revamp their cold brew. I don't drink it and never bothered working up a good method for myself. The problem is over bitter from the drip blend and overly nutty on the cold brew dedicated beans. The latter

Mazzer Philos Comments
Thank you so much for your review. Very enlightening. Do you any compelling benefit in buying a Philos over a P64 (apart from price)?

Steam Tip Dial, Cheap
I was looking for the Foam Knife as an option but it was no longer available in my region and it was also expensive. I was worried that if it did not work out I would be at a loss with all of the other stuff I was unsuccessful with. I got this tip for under $5 so it was

Breville Dual Boiler gurgling, Brand New machines x 2
I get something similar to this on my Profitec 300 after emptying the boilers. It goes away after a few shots. Is this affecting the ability to pull a shot or steam?

Breville Dual Boiler gurgling, Brand New machines x 2
It's hard to tell from my end. Is it fully heated? (How long has it been on?) Has it had a chance to totally fill with water? Sometimes machines are a little weird when they are brand new and just filling reservoirs, boilers, lines, etc. How much water in total have you run through the machine?

Espresso shot - coffee appears immediately - problem?
"18 g in, 36 g out, in 25 seconds" or whatever is merely a benchmark that becomes familiar with time. Experience will get you to the point where you sense that, for example, for the amount of bitterness you taste, two notches finer on the grinder will get you closer to a good shot. Grind, dose, and ratio will
