La Marzocco Swan
Thanks Greg for the review. How do you think that the pico compares to it in terms of the features that you consider in the swan to elevate it as a grinder?

Blueberry (or any berry) bomb coffee recommendations?
Please let us know how this batch turns out. I loved my first bag that was roasted in early March. Hoping that the more recent ones are back up to the original quality

New Quick Mill Pop and Quick Mill Pop Up
The Quickmill range under $1000 doesn't seem to have much presence in the US but it's very common here in Europe

Dosing by burr rotations also takes ramp up/ramp down out of the equation. I can't see how time-based would be better than burr rotations, since burr movement is directionally proportional to output. Time has inherent non-linearity built in, which is fine once you've set a dose, but if the start/stop ramp is inconsistent, you'll get inconsistent output, even

Who's still buying conventional tampers?
Although I use a Decent tamper for my daily driver, I occasionally use a couple of beautiful regular tampers (with a tighter fit) that are more satisfying. I use my fingers and thumb to start the tamp evenly by feeling the edge of the basket. I have no plans to ditch these "conventional" tampers

Fellow news and information!
I would assume that id has 2 reasons for stopping, the required torque drops to zero for a long time or the required torque stays at zero for a long time. I would guess if you feed slowly and evenly enough you hit the second trigger as feeding slowly enough might not trigger the torque has passed X and now

Upgrading to a temperature stable espresso machine that can go back-to-back seamlessly.
IMHO there's no need to spend speedster and strata type of money to get what u want. I have a Nurri L type SA spring Lever machine that has a 3 channel PID that is able to set and regulate the temperature of the grouphead vs the brew boiler vs the steam boiler (its a. Double boiler) independently. It heats

ACS waiting times
Another update from DHL - apparently there is not a sufficiently good record of the name and address of the manufacturer, and this is being requested from the Italian end. Hopefully when this is completed, the shipment will be released. So near and yet so far!

Dosing adjustability of the outer burr is in steps of 0.1 revolutions, so the weight equivalent least count in dosing is 0.123 gms (20 gms / 16.25 rotations) and positional accuracy of the burr at that value depends on the resolution of the encoder. If the encoder is only 100 steps per revolution, than the positional accuracy of
