How many 'cycles' is the expected life of burrs or a grinder?

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

I'm thinking about buying a Fausto on the used market, and I understand it keeps track of lifetime use. How much is too much? How long do burrs last? How about the motors? Maybe this question is a longshot but the information must be out there considering the grinders are now keeping track???

Thanks all

The SOP for buying used grinders used in cafes is to replace the burrs and not worry about the motor. I can't recall reading about a motor failure on the fora. Start capacitors do fail, but that's rare and they are fairly easy repairs.

The burrs wear out after a certain weight of beans have been ground, not necessarily by "cycles". If you had the total shot grind count, and were able to distinguish single and double shots, you could do some napkin math to determine how much life the burrs have on them. For a 65 mm burr machine probably should be changed around 700 lbs of coffee.
