Received an email reply from Denis (KafaTek). He said he has no plans to manufacture a dust cover for the safety cap/funnel at this time with everything else on his plate.

I guess that leaves us to invent with all our creative juices or facsimile there of...

I've spent entirely too much time looking on Amazon for an option for the Flat.

I'm going to order both of these (links below) and see which I like better. I like the idea of a stainless steel ball bearing also, but decided on these two options. I like the look of the stone one more of these two, but the delrin one won't scratch anything or cause a problem if it rolls of the counter.

I found a bouncy ball for a size reference (which is what I'm using for the interim). I think a 1 inch (25 mm) ball would be the best size for the Flat.

A nice looking cup coaster will likely do the trick.

So if you have to cover the hole in the safety cover, why not just take the wooden lid off?

Although now that I have seen these ideas of having the gemstones, that does add a bit of interest and design.

Just got this in. It is slightly smaller than advertised, but I'm happy with how it looks.

Do you still think 25mm would be the best or should I step it up to 30?
