I'm heading to China this weekend for a couple of days. We'll be in Daliang Sub-district, Shunde District, Foshan City, Guangdong (that's quite the handful to type). I imagine my best option will be Starbucks, but I'm open to suggestions in the off-chance someone here knows a little place doing interesting things with coffee. Thanks.

Generally speaking, it's hard to find quality coffee in China, even in places like Beijing. Either it's super dark (for traditional coffee spots) or super light (for more "progressive" and trendy cafes). I got some severely underdeveloped beans from Puer-still tasted green. Your best bet is indeed to find a Starbucks.
