The newer mini roastery Starbucks may do things a bit differently..(These updated Starbucks offer vacuum siphon coffee, nitro brew etc.
There is one not too far from my home... will check it out this week to see if a different grinder is used for the blond roast.

I finally got to try a blonde shot at the SB next to our dry cleaner. There's definitely less asphalt in it than in their standard espresso, but it has the mouth feel of '60s LA air. I won't be having another.

Some years ago while traveling on business in the Deep South, I had a choice...the Waffle House or Starbucks for coffee. Sometimes it all relative. :roll:

I just had a blonde espresso a couple days ago, and it tasted like the quality I've come to expect from Starbucks. :lol:
