Adding preinfusion to commercial espresso machine

Any suggestions on how to modify single group portion control commercial machine to do pre infusion.

Single group just add an adjustable delay on make relay inline with the pump. It will pre infuse under mains pressure then the relay will kick on the pump. Did it on a couple machines. My 2 group ran on 220 so finding a relay was a bit more difficult. My Elektra is 110v so relay were easy to get. Think I picked that one up at Grainger.

Yes - it looks like it should work. And you get a fancy LED display.

Got the relay,but can't get it going.Turns on for half second then goes into pause (programmable), then turns on continuously.Hara be leben.
