Lately I've been trying out pressure profiling after reading some positive posts of how brew pressure affects extraction. However, on my machine, I'm finding it very hard to control/vary the brew pressure because the paddle travel distance between the pump turning on and fully on is very short. There is almost no precision as a small 1mm movement will already bring the pressure up or down a few bars.
I'm hoping members with the same mod can advise if this is normal or my alignment is off? And if it's normal, is it possible to adjust or mod the distance to allow finer control?
I see in the video of the new GS3MP with conical valve that the control is much better because the paddle travel from start to end of pump is a lot longer.
