For the last couple years, HB has supported either http or https. I've noticed that Chrome is adding "not secure" labels to input fields if the connection is http (unencrypted), which is clearly a reminder from Google that they strongly encourage sites to only use encrypted connections. Rather than wait for less subtle hints, I've switched the site to require SSL.

Please let me know if you see any odd behavior (e.g., broken links, mixed content warnings).

Thanks for making the change. That makes me feel better when using my laptop computer to log on using hotel Wi-Fi.

You're welcome! The only problem I've seen is forum URLs in PMs aren't correctly expanded if they have a https prefix. I'll look into that. The performance seems a bit zippier now, I assume thanks to the HTTP/2 resource multiplexing that was enabled with SSL.
