Astoria / CMA lever pressure

I'm in the process of restoring a Cafethema (aka CMA/Astoria) 2 group lever. I have the machine to the point that it's working, but I'm wondering what the optimum pressure is to set the pressurestat.
I'm getting good shots, but the steam seems way too much. It steams 8 oz of milk (too far) in about 12 seconds.
I know a few folks here have or have had CMA levers. What pressure do you run?
thanks

I top it at around 1.1; I do not flush the group, and recently I've had good results not obsessing with when I pull the shot (no surfing). I do long preinfusion - about 10 seconds or so.
