I just got a rancilio S27 from my way-too-generous uncle.

Got it installed and wanted to programme the dosage of the water. I can find the info that I should hold the left (continuous) button hard about 8-10 seconds and then presse the button i need programmed.
The info I found also says that after having pressed the left button for 8-10 seconds its led light should start blinking, but it doesn't and I seem to get nowhere close to programming my buttons.

could someone help me with this? I guess i could dose manually for every cup and get what I want, but it would be a shame to have such a nice machine and not have it perfectly programmed.

"perfect programming" is to use the manual dose button...

Thanks Barry, not a gamechanging piece of advice, but that's how I'm doing it and it's working out fine.

maybe you can help me out with another issue. temperature of the coffe is rather low. any thoughts on that?
