Dan, I appreciate the advice. I started grinding finer and finer until I was able to extract approx 2oz on a double shot basket in 30 seconds (including the pre-infusion time). I didn't know my Macap could actually grind that fine. I had a smaller problem with channeling at that point. Guess I need to work on my dosing and tamping technique. Any other advice you could give on the Valentina would be appreciated. I have already read your great article on the Buyer's Guide to the Valentina.
