That prototype looks better suited for a home environment. The production version seems to have some interesting capabilties, but there's some very questionable marketing on the site: https://heylo.coffee/pages/less-guilty-coffee

That machine was a proof of concept and gave an idea of where the project is going. It's very different now, after 3 years of development.

As I mentioned above, the machine in the video is a proof of concept and the current iteration has 3 years more development under its belt. It does have very interesting capabilities. I did spend time studying the marketing info on the link you posted and I'm not sure what you find questionable. There are a couple of placeholders on the specs list, which I'm sure will be updated, e.g. power consumption. And they don't know how to spell dilution, but otherwise I think it's straightforward and not questionable at all. Please enlighten me.

Sorry I forgot to mention that one reason for the shape of the machine at HOST was to demonstrate how compact the internals could be without trying very hard. The entire machine is inside that box and the only connections were a tube going down to a water jug and an electrical connection. The only reason the box was as large as that was because we needed mechanical strength to support the group. We did a funny video there during which we hid Agnieska Rojewska inside the cabinet that held the water. When asked what we were hiding under the machine, the door popped open, showing that we hid a World Barista Champion.
