Slayer single group - vibrates on 0 bar

Hey

I have Slayer single group and it does vibrate on 0 bar without portafilter but if I used blind basket there's nothing.


anyone had this problem before?

Have you contacted Slayer? The few times I have needed their help on a tech issue they have been great.

With water flowing through the group but nothing allowing pressure to build, the gauge will read 0. If it continues to read 0 even when pressurized, either there's something wrong with the gauge itself, or there is a blockage somewhere between it and the connection to the brew group (either in that narrow copper tube, or its connections). My money is on blockage.

I'm going to guess cavitation. The inlet is restricted and the pump can't get enough water and the bubbles are causing the vibration.

You mean the inlet hose can't get enough water for the pump?

Yes, maybe the filter is clogged or the hose is crimped.
