Replacing steam tip on Breville Bambino for better latte art milk?

I just got a Breville Bambino and really like it so far. I love latte art and I've heard that steam tips with multiple holes are better for creating latte art microfoam. The Bambino, however, only has one hole.

Does anyone have experience changing the steam tip on the Bambino?

If so, what is your new tip?

Do you notice a positive change in the latte art microfoam?

Thank you! Doug

I dont think Bambino is suited for multi hole tip. The thermojet has a hard time catching up even with one hole and the steam is relatively wet. Multi hole tip requires higher steam pressure and flow to really shine.

I also have a Bambino with a single hole steam tip. It makes really tasty milk foam but I do notice that I can't seem to do latte art. I've watched many how-to videos, but it never comes out very well. Nice to know that maybe I can blame the machine rather than my own ineptitude. The Bambino milk foam is very fluffy and great for drinking but not for latte art, at least for me. I just get big globs; no swans, no flowers...

Take a look at video from Lance Hedrick and Morgan, they have both demonstrated foaming for latte art using a bambino.
I followed mostly Lance's steps on steaming and I can do latte art no problem.

From your description, it seems you have incorporated too much air into the milk while steaming, ie. stretched too much.

The Bambino milk is good for latte art but I was just trying to see if it would be even better with a multi hole tip.

Tin Roof Rusted......keep practicing.....it takes a while to get Latte Art.......I agree that getting the right balance with aeration is important. Lance's videos are GREAT!
