Roasted two batches last night in preparation of the machine coming. Will be five days post roast by then. First batch ended before any signs of second and the second batch I heard a few pops of second as I hit cool and opened the door of the Behmor. I like brightness for my pourover but wanted to go slightly darker for the espresso machine.

I have a bunch of coffee joints to buy from around work and around home so I'll pick up bags of their espresso roasts also.
My list of cafes so far:
Blue Bottle
Demitasse
Klatch coffee
Dripp
Canabru (which is serving klatch coffee beans and they're closer to me so I'll go here instead)
Dirty Penguin - serving stumptown
Slightly more (3 to 4 times) than buying green so I might only pick up one bag at a time

Got all the accessories together.

I also added a brass wire to the exit chute of the super jolly as a static guard. Only tried it once and it worked. First time I tried the funnel I didn't have anything there and the grounds just went all over the place.

Finally here! I came home to a sticker that said I missed the ups guy. I called and next delivery attempt would be Monday. A few hours later I got a knock on the door and here it is. He came back. I guess either my three calls to ups or contacting espresso outlet helped.

I did not know it came with a tamper.

I remembered to lift with my legs.

Everything's so shiny.

Going to fill it up with water and fire it up.

I am. Went through a pound of coffee already. Still trying to dial in the grind.

Looks great! They did a nice job on the double box packaging! Enjoy :D
A three cord strand is not easily broken...

It's a good looking machine. Yeah, the outer box could've been a crate. Very thick and sturdy.

Just when I think I got the grind right I have to switch beans. Made a cappuccino for breakfast. Need to work on the rosetta a bit.
