I stupidly tipped over my portafilter while tamping and spilled coffee everywhere, including the little slot where the "drip tray holder" (if that's a good way to describe it) meets the body of the machine. I fished out what I could with a bent paperclip but shining a flashlight into the slot I see lots of grounds. I took the cover off but it seems that major disassembly would be needed to separate the drip tray holder from the body of the machine to get into there.

Any ideas -- maybe there's something I am not understanding about disassembling the machine. Or can I just remove the reservoir and tip the whole machine upside down?

Picture of the slot is attached.

Maybe a wet nap with a pointed object to put it down the gap?

Or a can of compressed air to blow out what the vac misses. Or if you have a small compressor.
