Thanks all! Yeah, LOL, the only upgrades I'm looking at anytime soon are some wood sides, handles and caps.BaristaBoy E61 wrote:Congrats on a great step up & setup.
I'd be done too - for a while!
I also debated quite a bit on whether to get the AV or the MP. I'm very happy I went back to a manual machine from a volumetric. I'm really enjoying playing around with the pressure profiling. Though I probably need to pickup a better scale.
The E65s is fantastic as well for those looking at it. Super fast, very quiet and grind quality is outstanding. It is very easy to dial in.

How do you like your hero grinder? How is it in terms of grounds retention?

I love it. No retention. Excellent grind performance and distribution with wdt. I also love the worm gears as it's easy to dial the specific settings required.

What's the scoop on the E65S 'Hopper', single dose?

Thanks!
... funny thing, SD hopper design and dimensions are based on the diameter of on eBay available black plastic lens cover, the most important part ...johnX wrote:What a great looking setup and very nice custom machining too!
