I also have a Titus burr carrier. But I replaced the burrs with SSP HU. My average grind setting is around 2.0 which gives me a long extraction with 17 grs of light roast.

Thanks for the kind words!
I feel very fortunate to be able to pull shots on such an incredible piece of history and art every day.
And it certainly doesn't hurt that the espresso tends to be pretty great.

So cool. What's the third valve? Is that regulating brew flow? Or is it a tank fill valve?

It, no joke, releases steam inside the case.
The explanation I was given is that it was intended to be used to quickly heat the cups on top of the machine.

Suffice it to say that it's been fixed in-place after an incident involving a visiting barista.

Finally "officially" got to claim a section of the kitchen. the Faema Lambro arrived today from Officina Maltoni. Very excited to give it a go!
