Another option that allows you to clamp the machine drain line in place is to install a dishwasher drain fitting/appliance wye in the straight section above the trap. https://www.amazon.com/Canplas-212332W- ... 5283&psc=1

or replace the straight fitting with one of these:

Can you please verify that the hose from the drip tray is loosely inserted in the pvc tube?
and therefore it freely airs through the opening?
Here are a couple of more informative pictures. The first one shows the complete path of the drain line. The second better shows the connection to the sink drain you were asking about. The larger black hose is normally used for washing machines and merely serves as an extension to the drain line. It is indeed freely inserted into the pvc pipe. I merely asked the plumber to install the Y when he did the plumbing for the sink and I took care of the rest.

...now to get myself a pro grinder. My Akirakoki is my PO grinder but so far it managed to produce decent enough grind for playing around with.
You're not always right, but when you're right, you're right, right?

William is for my favorite light roasted beans. Breville is for dark Italian blends and alternatives.
Looking great! I have the same Breville SGP pairing with Lelit Anna. How does it perform for your Elizabeth in terms of fineness if you don't mind me asking? I'm setting mine at outer display: 7, inner burr: 6 (default) for single origins medium roast.

Nice setup - Even your 'Mexican' wall hanging rug says, 'Merry Christmas'. Where is that from?
