Unfortunately its stuck in the corner, which is a crying shame - it needs to be on an island... nonetheless, here's the best I can do. Not my bench, so I can't drill through it for plumbing either, although I'd love to!DaveB wrote:I'd much rather see a functioning 63 year old machine than a 1 minute old espresso drink!

Very well. I must say I always get confused with front and back with regards to espresso machines. I always think of 'my' side of the machine as the front, and the generally more attractive side as the back, but I'm not sure if thats the correct convention.
I was foolish and didn't take any photos of what I would call the back of the machine before installing it - it looks great with the backlighting. Paul Pratt however took a photo of it next to his one - he did all the heavy lifting on it, well above my skill set, so I have a picture from that. Beautiful machines. Its been my daily driver here in HK for just coming up to one year and I love it. Still brings a smile to my face every morning and I'm now in the process of training my 11 year old to use it. He's doing well.

Hi everyone! I'm new to Home Barista, so what better way to introduce yourself than by showing your stuff
Shortly about me: I'm Michel, 42, from Amsterdam, I work in online marketing/CRM, and I learn something new about coffee every day.
At home I make espressos and americanos using my Bezzera Unica and Baratza Sette 270W. I'm very happy with the built in scale of the Sette!
I try different coffees at the moment, I love to discover new flavors so I rarely find myself drinking the same coffee for very long. There is so little time, and so much coffee to try!
My coffee hobby even started showing at work, when we didn't have a coffee machine on our floor (we're at the third, a big fully automatic is on the ground floor). I found a second hand WMF Presto, which is alllllmost giving good coffee.
Then, this week, I found this beauty:
Which should work just fine, bought it from a thrift shop which got it from a bankruptcy. So I'll have my hands full for some time to come I imagine!
I've already been reading for a few years, so it's going to be exciting to finally contribute a bit more to this great community of coffee enthusiasts.
