Peter, can you tell us more about your mods? Even the shot scale looks interesting.

Big punch in a tiny package:

Right now I'm just using the Monolith Flat for espresso, but I'm pretty confident I'll be able to use it for brewed coffee as well.

David, I love your coffee corner! From the wood wall and table to (obviously) the lever machines.

Just moved into a new home where I designed my own coffee bar/butler's pantry. Plumbing is underneath the cabinets, just need to set it up once all these boxes get unpacked. This was probably the first thing unpacked and set up, and much appreciated this morning since we are snowed in!

Thanks! The longleaf pine shiplap in old Texas houses is kind of a trip. We're basically living in a 100-year-old wood cabin in the center of the city. We've exposed the original wood throughout the house:

We really haven't done any work in the kitchen since buying the house in 2005. Eventually, we'll gut the kitchen. I'd like to salvage, flip, refinish and reuse the existing wall material, similar to what I did in the bedroom; we reused salvaged antique pine heartwood in the furniture, headboard and walls.

I'm not one for kitchen aesthetics... I am function and mess and maybe cleanliness at most.

But wow. Nice!
