Poor Man's Brew Temperature Measurement

I use a Styrofoam cup and a Taylor Thermometer..
I do a flush to fill up the cup and let the probe get up to temp..
I then let the water run out the two holes I poked into the bottom with the thermometer..
When the cup drains to a drip I do another flush and check temps..
The Rocket's offset in the manual seems to be right on..

This was exactly what I did on my old Ascaso. Except I had the thermometer probe sitting in boiled water separately so I could quickly swap out when ready to test the temp.
I have nothing to compare it to but seemed to work.
