I have a quick mill Alexia Evo (just got it on this site). The PID display is much higher than the set target temperature. I have the target temperature at 195. The differential is at the default for the machine (18 degrees). The PID displays a reading of 279 (after 1/2 hour from turning the machine on). I am trying to dial is shots for the first time and they seem burnt and bitter. Should the PID be showing the target temperature? Any idea why it would be reading way above even the differential 213 boiler temperature? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I feel like an idiot. I figured out I had the switch for steam on. It is now at the right temp.
