Any thought about my doubt?
Does the resistance of a coffee puck can modify the real water temp passing trough the coffee cake, especially once grinding more finer?
I mean i believe that the coffee cake is basically a flow restrictor.
Hey HB hive mind, first post, been lurking for a little while and am blown away by the amount of knowledge on this site, and I'm making the best coffee of my life thanks to you guys!
I recently picked up Eric's thermometer, and whilst there is a ton of info on how it's used...
I have the stainless braided line they gave me. Which has this brass thing on the end that to me, prevents fittings to screw on far enough for me to feel good about it.

After skimming through Jake's awesome thread and seeing Randy's cool E61 patent homage poster showing a needle valve in the mushroom cap of THE E61, I'm wondering why that isn't there anymore and/or why hasn't someone brought that back as an aftermarket retrofit for a poor-man's...
I've never seen a thread about this product on the forum so I wanted to share it with everyone so you could see it for yourself. After positive experience with the Levy Tamper, I decided to give Saint Anthony Industries Harold Tamper a shot.
