Hi there

I was wondering if anyone can help please? We have the above machine in our office and yesterday it started louding blowing stream, possibly from a release valve. Unfortunatley we don't have a manual for this anymore and if we call office help we might lose it (cost cutting :( Is this possibly something a simple descale could fix? Does it sound like a blockage or breakage?

I can't find a manual online anywhere

Any help greatly appreciated
Cheers

Sounds like a sticky pressurestat. As you can see from other reports, pressurestats fail closed as in your case (boiler keeps heating until the overpressure valve opens) or fail open, in which case the boiler won't heat. In both cases, the remedy is replacing the pressurestat.

It is, very likely, NOT something a simple descale would fix. But, a pic or two or three of this machine dressed and undressed might very well jog someone's memory as regards it being brand XYZ in a different costume.

Here is the beast in question. The only name it has is Nitro. Possibly why I can't find much about it.

Either NITRO 1 ESPRESSO MACHINE or 62000 Nitro Domestic 1 Group.

And how about the X-rated pics? :)

This looks like a "standard" E-61 box so, as Dan K. said, replacing the pstat will LIKELY and HOPEFULLY solve your problems.

Thanks for the info guys!

They won't let me take the lid off (and they don't know what good coffee is either)

Much Appreciated

Those all look like rebranded Quick Mill machines (Nitro = Andreja Premium, Delphi = Anita)
Too much is not enough
