Nice thanks! Must mean they're in the ocean right now! Is 1st line and chris coffee the two main vendors in US? Does anyone have tips on getting the best deal out of the V2 (heard chris coffee was including flow control for free at one point on mara x)macal425 wrote:For anyone that is interested, I contacted Lelit to ask when V2 will be available in the USA. I received the following reply:
"depending on the vessels and transport delays, it could be within 2 months"

Got a new Mara X. I am not sure whether the pump works well. Can somebody share some details, how long it shoud take from releasing the lever until reaching the final pump pressure, i.e. 9-10 bar, even with using a backflush blind filter basket ? My one takes about 17 seconds. That' quite long time ?! May be a video clip or link to existing normal working machine would be great. Thanks in advance.

What is the pump gauge displaying when the machine is brewing against a blind filter? And does the pump sound the same as when it is/was brewing normally?matthewncl wrote: Since they sent it back, OPV during backflush or shot doesn't go into drip tray ... which left me puzzled. Where does the water go then?

The pump gauge is going immediately to 2 bar and then it is constantly moving up 9-10 bar. This is going to take about 17 seconds. Sound is normal.

Then when it is at 9 or 10 bar, there's nothing flowing through the OPV? You're correct that the water has to be going somewhere, if the pump still sounds normal, it's moving water. You will have to open the top and follow the hose from the OPV to see where it is taking the water. To be honest, I don't know if the OPV goes to the little outlet at the back of the drip tray or to the pump's inlet side (The outlet over the tray may be just for the priming valve and vacuum breaker). You'll have to check, but luckily, you have a Mara X.

In current Mara-X water from OPV goes back to the water circuit.
In early Mara-X models water goes to the drip tray.

Just for reference, my V1 MaraX (OPV routes to drip tray), it's roughly 8-10s "pre-infusion". That is, before it reaches target pressure.
IDK if this has changed on the V2. AFAIK there's a pretty stiff spring inside the group head that controls this "pre-infusion", so something might be up with that. Have you had flow-control mounted on the machine?

Hello,
I have the machine since October 2021
I use X-mode (1) only and the temperature switch on "0"
After heating the machine 35-45 minutes the steam pressure gauge was idle at 0.5-0.6 bar, and the water came out from the group at nice temperature, something about 89-90
A few days ago the steam pressure gauge became rise after heating to 1.4-1.5 bar and the water comes out steaming from the brew head.
I have checked everything: the machine is on coffee mode; changed the temperature mode - the temperature led was blinking for 15 minutes, but the steam pressure gauge goes to the same 1.4-1.5 bar and the water comes out overheated with steam.
Tried cool flashes while the machine is cold and hot - nothing helps
Have you any idea?

You may need to replace the HX temperature probe, or at least clean it. There are YouTube videos, and your vendor can send you the replacement part.
