Hi everyone > just talked to local LM distributor > kinda confirmed a new version of LMLM is coming, was particularly not willing to talk more about this topic, but suggested a preinfusion will be implemented in a way - different from GS3 > does anyone here knows about it?

OMG! I so hope this is true! ^^^

With the Micra out, I feel the Mini could use a refresh to differentiate it in the line up.

yeah, i think so > well it's been confirmed by the dealer, so i guess something is coming...im pretty much convinced to buy LMLM as i really went tired by the HX flush routine/temperament...so they had every reason to tell me different since i'd probably buy one much sooner...micra i dont feel its "proportionally right" :D but at the same time i think from straight functionality perspective mini does not makes much sense for home use since micra appeared...

I can see the appeal of the Micra for those limited on counter space but as a very happy Mini owner, I'm not sure I'd compromise if the space is there. Functionality wise they're on a par, but the limited headroom on the Micra would put me off and I've heard people struggle with the shorter steam arm for smaller quantities of milk.

If the budget/space is available, I still think the Mini has a place in the lineup.

I also agree an update of sorts would be cool to see.

distributor name is coffee technology located in Prague > hope i have not uncovered something Top Secret :D

yes the micra dimensions are a struggle for me, yet for strictly home (with some possible future bistro utopia :)) the price difference of mini is hardly arguable...

I thought I'd share how I've silenced the driptray rattling/buzzing (mainly buzzing) on my Linea Mini. I suspect this is due to either the drip tray grid being bent. but it also has a lot of play when placed on the drip tray itself.

There's also a small gap on the left side. I saw this on a few Linea Mini's already. I actually don't mind, it makes this DIY fix work even better.

I'm sure there are many other ways to go about solving this, but you can still give it a try.

I hope it helps!

The biggest source of noise on mine is/was the stainless braided line coming off of the pump was coming into contact with the outer case. I used a zip tie to help hold it back just a bit and the machine is very silent now. The vibration from the pump to the line to the casing was making both the top tray buzz pretty good.

Anyone getting a slow drip from the plumbed drip tray lines? I pulled it out retightened things and added plumbers tape to the fitting that goes into the plastic drip tray. I think the drip might be coming from the fitting that just slides over the part that's screwed into the drip tray.

I had to do that too, I also had to rotate the pump slightly. Didn't do much with vibrations in my case, but certainly helped with noise coming from inside of the machine. I'm all good now, the machine is quiet with the magnets and edge protectors. However, my dad's Bezzera for reference is dead silent, no vibrations nor rattling. I wonder whether something can be done with the way the pump is mounted to the frame.

Thanks! I don't think you have to be honest.

I'm coming up to 6 months ownership on the Mini. Any recommended maintenance for that interval?

Group gasket?
