ymez wrote:Sharing when I received mine for those who are waiting on their order. Placed my order on 5/1, and received shipment email on 5/31. Tazmanian said scheduled for delivery 6/5 5:00PM but I gave them a call at around 6PM yesterday to see when it will actually be delivered to my home. The operator said it was shipped to Seattle instead of Portland (where I live) and said they will get back to me on what happened. Today I got a call from the local freight company saying they can get it to me Thursday but my impatience and paranoia of wrong delivery address got the best of me, so I told them I will pick it up from them instead.. and they said it was cool. So here it is :D.

Took 36 days from order to shelf, so about 5 weeks.

Very tidy! Which burrs are you running in the P64? I've got Mizens in mine.

Received my white Micra (ordered 5/5 and took delivery 6/2). Perfect delivery, no damage and everything works perfect on the Micra. What an amazing machine. I stepped up from a single boiler QuikMill Alexia. What a glorious upgrade!

However, I am having some glitches on the app's shot timer. About every third or fourth shot, the timer will malfunction in some way...sometimes it will start and then stop timing, and then suddenly start showing time elapsing after 10 or 20 seconds, sometimes the timer will just switch to "00" midway through the shot, sometimes the timer will just reset mid shot...it's all very random. Such a bummer, it seems as though with all the technology La Marzocco has delivered with this Micra, this timer should have been the least of their issues.

I have conducted the firmware update before I started using the machine, so I don't know what else to do to address this timer issue. I will write La Marzocco and see what they say.

Definitely not true. I ordered May 12 and received the shipment today (white).

I noticed the same thing when I was trying the shot timer. But because I use the timer on my scale, I have not tried to sort out the issue.

They're on the UM /multipurpose burrs but I will likely switch them out for Mizens once they become more readily available since I do espresso 90% of the time

Will the Luminaire Shot Timer work with the Micra?
I'm leaning towards yes since there's a 3 way solenoid in the Micra.

Has anyone had a successful installation?

Any tips for controlling the steaming on this beast? I'm moving from a Mara X where it took me a solid 30 seconds to steam and thus had more time to fine tune. This Micra steaming gets the milk to the right temp in like 5-10 seconds and I'm getting a crap load of foam in the process. I'm mostly steaming oat milk for 12oz lattes in a fellow pitcher.

The app will let you turn down the steam level

Once you get your rhythm down, you might bump it up again. "Commercial level" steam can be addictive.
