I received white today but it was from stock at local dealer. Wanted stainless steel initially, was told lead time is end of july
Who sells them locally if I may ask? Whenever I search for them I just get the La Marzocco site or a Canadian website. I'm in Seattle, if I could get it locally I would.demitry_cy wrote:I received white today but it was from stock at local dealer. Wanted stainless steel initially, was told lead time is end of july
I'm in Europe
local La Marzocco dealer had ss, white, black and grey in stock when I contacted them. SS got sold while I was debating the purchase, so I went for the white.

Nice, doesn't look like we have the luxury of buying them locally here in the US, unfortunately.

I ordered white on April 26th from Stealth Coffee Systems in Vancouver (the distributor for La Marzocco in Canada). I was told it wouldn't be delivered until June. It arrived, unexpectedly, on May 18, with no shipping notification or update and the order still showing unfulfilled on their website, via Canada Post on a pallet. Certainly not complaining! The communication has just been non-existent from Stealth, which I also wasn't expecting considering the premium product and their self proclaimed pride in delivering exceptional service.
Less, but better.
Maybe a second will arrivejordanborth wrote:I ordered white on April 26th from Stealth Coffee Systems in Vancouver (the distributor for La Marzocco in Canada). That was me. Ordered April 14 and got it 5 weeks later. Black/white longest, blue/red middle and stainless/gray shortest.
Any issues with cranking down pretty hard to get portafilter to lock in and seal? I'm using the blue silicone gasket and this one also requires me to tighten hard enough to somewhat shift the machine. Sometimes I'll hear a little creak from the group head too. I've read that LM machines are notorious for having to really lock in hard but is there any potential damage from doing this?
